About
This is my Final Project from Vancouver Film School, comprised of a team of 4 Game Developers, and 3 Sound Designers. We used Unreal Engine 4 as our Game Engine, as well as WWise for a Audio, and Steam Networking to connect the players.

Shift is a 3rd Person Co-Op Puzzle game where Paya goes on a journey with her mentor, Mur, completing challenges and navigating through the Ancient Ruins. Mur is the last of his civilization, and needs Paya's help putting his soul to rest.
Contribution
Where I contributed to the project:
-
Mechanics Programmer:
I created the characters using a mix of Unreal's Visual Scripting System (Blueprints), as well as native C++. Along with the characters, I created the Interactables that the players get to use to solve the puzzles.
-
UI / UX Programmer:
I created all the menus and make them functional. They were all made using Unreal's UI System (UMG).
-
Networking Programmer:
Using Third Party Plugins (Advanced Sessions, Advanced Steam Sessions), We were able to connect two players through Steam Networking. I also had to make networking work as intended throughout the game.
